How to Work With us
In-Person Physio
Physiotherapy is a safe and effective way to treat a majority of musculoskeletal issues. A recent US based study showed that 86% of patients found physiotherapy to be effective in addressing neck and back problems.
Virtual Physio
It has now been established by multiple insurance companies that virtual visits can be as effective as in person visits. Patient satisfaction rate for virtual visits is in the 90% range.
TOOLS WE USE
Prescriptive Exercise
When you're in pain, the natural instinct is to rest and protect. But in physiotherapy, our first line of treatment is often the opposite—graded movement and prescriptive exercise. And here’s why it works.
Pain often leads to fear of movement, which can cause stiffness, weakness, and more pain—a frustrating cycle. Graded movement is about gently and safely reintroducing motion, step-by-step, at a level your body can handle. It builds trust in your body again.
We don’t throw you into high-intensity workouts. Instead, we assess where you are, then create a personalized plan that strengthens, mobilizes, and restores function, one controlled movement at a time.
This approach:
Reduces pain by improving circulation and calming the nervous system
Restores strength and flexibility in affected areas
Builds long-term resilience so pain doesn’t keep returning
Most importantly, it puts you back in control of your recovery. Movement is medicine, and with the right guidance, it can be your most powerful tool for healing.
If you're in pain, we don’t just treat the symptoms—we treat you, and we start by moving forward, together.
Manual Therapy
Sometimes what you need most is a skilled, human touch. At our clinic, many people come to us seeking relief they haven't found elsewhere—because our experienced therapists specialize in manual therapy, a hands-on approach that works.
Manual therapy involves precise techniques like joint mobilization, soft tissue release, and muscle stretching to reduce pain, improve mobility, and restore function. It’s not just about “cracking backs”—it’s about using years of expert training to understand how your body moves and where it’s stuck.
What makes manual therapy so effective?
Immediate relief: Many patients feel reduced pain and increased movement even after the first session.
Personalized treatment: Every technique is tailored to your body and your pain.
Experienced hands: Our therapists have years—some even decades—of hands-on clinical experience. You’re not getting a one-size-fits-all approach; you’re getting care from someone who has helped hundreds just like you.
For those struggling with persistent pain, stiffness, or injury, manual therapy offers more than treatment—it offers hope. And when that care comes from someone who truly knows how to help, the difference is something you can feel.
Let us help you move better, feel better, and live with less pain—starting with just one pair of expert hands.
Accupuncture
Whether it's a stubborn back, a tight neck, or aching joints—acupuncture may be the gentle but powerful tool you haven’t tried yet. As physiotherapists, we use acupuncture not as an alternative therapy, but as an evidence-based technique to support your healing.
Physio-led acupuncture involves the careful insertion of fine, sterile needles into specific points in the body to reduce pain, ease muscle tension, and improve circulation. It’s especially effective for chronic pain, muscle tightness, headaches, and nerve-related symptoms.
Why does it work?
It stimulates the nervous system to release natural painkillers like endorphins
It reduces inflammation and promotes better blood flow to injured tissues
It helps the body reset pain signals, so you can move more freely and comfortably
What sets us apart is that our acupuncture treatments are always part of a bigger plan—combined with movement, strength, and manual therapy to get the best results. We’re not just treating symptoms—we’re treating the cause.
If you’re tired of being held back by pain, acupuncture with a physiotherapist offers a safe, targeted way to help your body heal—naturally, and effectively. Let’s get you moving again.
Myofascial Decompression (MFD)
MFD is a highly effective, hands-on technique that targets tight or restricted soft tissue—particularly the fascia, the connective tissue that surrounds muscles and joints. When this tissue becomes dense, sticky, or bound down, it can limit your mobility, cause discomfort, and affect how your muscles and nerves function together.
MFD uses gentle negative pressure (often with cups) to lift and separate the layers of tissue, creating space for improved blood flow, reduced tension, and better movement. This technique not only releases built-up restrictions but also helps retrain your body on how to move more efficiently and without pain.
Why is it effective?
It addresses the root cause of stiffness and discomfort, not just the symptoms
It enhances muscle activation and nerve function by restoring proper movement patterns
It supports recovery in both acute injuries and chronic pain conditions
If you’re dealing with tightness, reduced mobility, or pain that just won’t go away, Myofascial Decompression can be a game-changer. It’s a gentle, targeted way to free up your body and help you move better—with less pain and more freedom.
-
MFD focuses on finding and fixing movement problems. A strong understanding of body movement and muscles helps spot and treat limited range of motion and muscle imbalances and involves the patient actively in their recovery.
Traditional cupping (based on principles of traditional Chinese medicine) typically don't involve active movement and is usually aimed at balancing energy flow.
-
Fascia is a thin, strong layer of connective tissue that surrounds and supports muscles, bones, and organs. In physiotherapy, it's important because restrictions in the fascia can lead to pain, stiffness, and poor movement, so treating it helps improve mobility and overall function.
-
Myofascial decompression is unique because it lifts tight or stuck tissues using movement, rather than pressing down on them like most other techniques. When tissues become stiff or tangled, blood flow and healing can be reduced—so gently pulling on them helps improve circulation, movement, and recovery more effectively.
Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT)
Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) is a treatment that uses low-intensity light to reduce pain and inflammation, speed up healing, and improve tissue repair.
It offers a gentle, drug-free way to reduce pain and support healing—using the power of light!
As physiotherapists, we use LLLT to help:
Reduce inflammation in injured or irritated tissues
Speed up tissue repair at the cellular level
Relieve pain without the need for medication or invasive procedures
This non-invasive treatment delivers targeted light energy to the body, stimulating your cells to heal more efficiently. It’s especially effective for conditions like tendonitis, arthritis, joint pain, and soft tissue injuries.
The best part? It’s completely painless, with no downtime. You may feel a soothing warmth—or nothing at all—as the laser quietly goes to work beneath the surface.
For those looking for a natural, science-backed way to feel better, Low Level Laser Therapy is a powerful tool in your recovery toolkit. Let us help you harness the healing power of light—so you can get back to doing what you love, without pain holding you back.
Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS)
EMS delivers electrical impulses to the muscles, causing them to contract helping enhance muscular strength, endurance, and recovery during your treatment session.
If you're struggling with pain, muscle weakness, or tightness, electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) can be a surprisingly effective part of your physiotherapy treatment. While it might sound high-tech or intimidating, it's actually a safe, non-invasive way to help your body heal and feel better—faster.
As physiotherapists, we use e-stim to:
Reduce pain by calming overactive nerves
Improve muscle activation after injury or surgery
Relax tight muscles and improve blood flow to sore or inflamed areas
For many patients, e-stim feels like a gentle tingle or pulse, and sessions are adjusted to your comfort level. It’s just one more way we work with your body—not against it—to get you moving with less pain and more confidence.
